Karnataka - KS Eshwarappa: In Karnataka, resentment surfaced after the BJP’s candidate list excluded former Deputy Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa’s son, leading to his decision to contest independently against the BJP’s candidate.

Uttar Pradesh - Santosh Gangwar: Uttar Pradesh, a key political battleground, witnessed dissent after the BJP denied a Lok Sabha ticket to Santosh Gangwar, triggering protests and dissatisfaction among supporters.

Haryana - Birendra Singh: The BJP faced setbacks in Haryana as its Jat MP, Brijendra Singh, joined the Congress along with his father, former Union Minister Birendra Singh, causing unease among the Jat community.

Gujarat - Parshottam Rupala: In Gujarat, internal strife arose over candidate selection, particularly regarding Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, with protests and demands for withdrawal over alleged controversial remarks.

Himachal Pradesh - Maheshwar Singh: Actor Kangana Ranaut’s candidacy in Mandi upset BJP’s old guard, notably three-time MP Maheshwar Singh, leading to reported support for Ranaut’s campaign.

Additionally, Rajasthan witnessed defection as sitting Churu MP Rahul Kaswan moved to the Congress due to dissatisfaction over candidate replacement.
